I loved the view from the restaurant in the Parador in the Alhambra.
If you are planning your evenings, you should not omit taking a night tour of the Alhambra. See the interiors of the buildings at night and the gardens in the daytime. The nights are truly magical, and it is not crowded at all.

Westayed at the Alhambra parador last July and had an evening meal there on the terrace overlooking the Generalife, etc.
We thought the food amd service were excellent but that's obviously subjective no matter who you ask. There was also entertainment in the form of a guitar player which added greatly to the overall ambience. It was a memorable evening and worth every penny.

I have reservations for the Alhambra in the morning so I'll try to get night ones as well. It seems the evening hours aren't as crowded, so if I reserve when we arrive it will probably work out. Dinner at the Parador sounds lovely but we'll be in Granada two nights and I was thinking of a restaurant with views of the entire Alhambra, lit up from a distance. Any restaurant suggestions with a view from a distance?

Thank you so much - I've googled Carmen Verde la Luna and Mirador de Morayma and both have good reviews online. I also found Mirador de Aixa in the same area. I wonder which is best? I want good food (I'm not a gourmand) but the view and service - "ambience" - I'll remember forever. Has anyone out there actually eaten in any of the above?

Just for info, if you are looking for a nice place to have a drink or coffee, then there are also great views of the Alhambra from the many cafés along the Paseo de los Tristes, a 5 minute walk from the Plaza Nueva (and no uphill climbing required).
