Alexander Nevsky monastery is an interesting place to visit. However, if you only have two days, you might as well skip it, unless you are especially interested in Russian churches and monasteries. Two days is too little time for seeing even the must-see places in St. Petersburg.

I have visited the monastery.

Alexdander Nevsky Monastery is a working monastery. It contains the graves of many of Russia's famous artistic figures, such as Tchaikovsky, Dostevsky & Rimsky Korsakov. The 2 main graveyards are located on either side of the main approach to the monastery.
Inside the monastery you will find another small graveyard as well as the Trinity Cathedral, worship Sat & Sun, The Annunciation Church, now a museum.

I would say it is not one of the major tourist attraction, but you may find that it is an interesting place to wander about.

I was there in August 2001. The cemeteries are interesting - some excellent sculpture - and the Cathedral was particularly interesting since it is still in use as a place of worship. What other sights are you seeing? I really wouldn't miss St. Isaac's Cathedral, and St. Nicholas is also very beautiful.
