Is there anyway you can book flights that connect in the same airport (either LHR or LGW)?
3 1/2 hrs is really not enough to connect between the 2 flights if you have to travel from LGW to LHR.
It'll easily take an hour after you land in LGW before you get out of immigration and customs.
It takes 70 mins on National Exrpess Coach to go between the 2 airports.
You'll need to check-in for your LHR-FRA flight at least 60 minutes early.
That's already >3 hrs accounted for, not including any delays etc.
So, either rebook flights that fly into/leave out of the same airport, or change your LHR-FRA flight to a later one.

The transfer is easy - but 3.5 hours is cutting it too close. If everything goes like clockwork you would just make it. Any little delay, or hiccup and you are out of luck.
Are you booking this all on one ticket w/ BA and do they say it is a legal connection? If so, they will get you to Frankfurt eventually. If booked separately - you would have to eat the ticket and pay for expensive walk-up fares.
In winter I would want a minimum of 5 hours between LGW and LHR. And even that might be risky since there could be serious delays at your departure airport/connections enroute to LGW.

There are no F'furt-LGW flights and no LGW-Cairo flights so you will need to make inter-airport transfer in London.
Agree 3.5hrs are cutting VERY close. Another alternative is to fly F'furt-London City. BA has several flights daily, the airport is closer and quite efficient. You'll probably need to get a car service, unless you're travelling luggage-free and/or in the middle of the evening rush hour.
