Airport to Amsterdam Marriott

I took the KLM shuttle to the Marriott also. Was very easy to find outside the airport. They do NOT stop in front of the Marriott but next door at that hotel (can't remember its name). This was worrying me (alone with 3 pieces of luggage). To my amazement, that hotel doorman(fancy uniform and all) left his post and carried my luggage inside the lobby of the Marriott right up to the front desk. He sure got a big tip from me. You'd think that the Marriott would keep a eye out for tourists arriving on this shuttle (yes, they have a strict schedule)and aid their lodgers.<BR>P.S. I loved the location of the Marriott. Quiet area but across the street from canal boats, an entertaining square with great places to eat and shop. And only a few blocks from the park, the museums, etc. Definitely enjoyed my 4 days there before embarking on my cruise.

I used a hotel shuttle bus last month. It was 10euro one-way or 18.50 if you bought a round-trip ticket. It stopped at the various hotels, the bus driver made a list as we got on. Not all, but MANY hotels were posted on the route sign just outside the airport a bit to the right on the plaza.
