Take a taxi. Maybe $10.00 more..no phone calls , door to door! Why bother !

Our experience with Pari Shuttle was not good. We waited at the airport for 1.5 hours (they kept telling us to wait another 10 minutes) and finally took a cab. All this after having made the reservations via email and receiving a confirmation. U might wanna try Air France Shuttle. It will drop U at Etoile (near Arche de Triomphe). From there, just cab it. Its barely 5 minutes to your hotel from Air France Terminal at Etoile. We also stayed in Tour Eiffel Area and took Air France coach on our way back to Airport. Had 2 suitcases, 2 backpacks and 1 laptop bag. Had no trouble.
Madhu,

Did you notify Mark Harris, the office manager of Parishuttle? If so, what was his response? I'd like to know the reason why you had to wait as we will be using their service soon. Thanks.

Paris CDG has a great public transportation system, why not just take that? RER into Paris... cheap and convenient.

Be smart. Start your vacation the right way, no hassels, no problems, no delays, no waiting for shuttles to show up and drop off other people, no schlepping luggage through long halls of the metro and up and down steps, door to door service. Walk outside the terminal and get on the taxi line. Don't take the drivers standing out there - very expensive. Take the taxis with "Taxi Parisien" sign on the roof. Should run you about $40 depending on traffic and amount of luggage. For more Paris information e-mail me: [email protected]

Taxi for 3 of us in morn. rush hour cost 48 euro (CDG to 6th) and 46 for the return trip. 3 of us, plus luggage.
RER works great, too,(probably more quickly in rush hour than taxi) except that lugging luggage up and down stairways is not fun.

Dear Madhu

Could you drop me a line re: your 1.5 hour wait at the airport as this seems particularly excessive.
I take all complaints seriously and am the first person to hold up their hands & accept liability if the company is at fault.
I await your details.
Average waiting time at the airport should be 20 minutes providing your flight arrives on time and there is no industrial action by airport workers.

best regards

Mark
parishuttle

HI, WE used ParisShuttle on last May and were satisfied with its service.
It picked us up at the hotel at the agreeded time ( even a few minutes before). A professional service . We paid 30 eu for 2 pax. A taxi because it was early in the morning would have been much more.
Besides although we know Paris well last time we were distressed with taxis that didn t take the best -shorter route possible to and from our hotel.

For about three years we wouldn't use anything but a shuttle. But two weeks ago it was our last time.
We booked the airport shuttle at 7 am from Muguet to CDG. Well, he arrived on time but did not say a word or help my husband who is an older man with a suitcase. Then we drove to get two passangers on the Right Bank. It was a slow drive and we could not figure out why because there was no traffic so early. Then we figure out why he drove so slowly when he went back to rue Cler to pick up two clients at 7:45. Muguet and rue Cler are at the same area. 45 minutes waisted. We did not like being in ther van for that long especially before a long flight to the US. Was it worthy to save a few euros and use a shuttle instead of a taxi? No way
In the end the driver ASKED for a tip. Have a nice day, my husband told him

So Joe if you decide on shuttle be prepared to be in the van for a long time.

Mark,

I wrote to U twice after I came back from Paris. I haven't heard from you yet. The flight was on time. We called as U had instructed. before claiming the baggage. And after that we called every 10 minutes. for exactly 1.5 hours. the lady kept saying the shuttle will come in 10 minutes. and then finally she told us she had no clue how much longer it will take for the shuttle to arrive. So we cancelled and took a cab. We were really upset. The lady on the phone was extremely unhelpful. She should have told us to take a cab when i called first. We have no idea why this delay happened.
