air traffic controllers strike

Our local TV station (Boston) discussed an air traffic controllers strike in France this morning. I did not hear it and cannot locate any other info. Does anyone know about it?

Yeah, that's right, the French are on strike (as usual) and virtually no flights are going to or from France today. BA had to cancel 122 flights out of 126 to France. Flights to other countries such as Greece and Italy are also affected.

Try the BBC website. They are following the situation. I think France is impacted today, with other countries planning shorter strikes tomorrow. Good luck.

What I just read on BBC is that the strike is expected to end pretty much today so there should be minimal interuption to services on Thursday. Hope so, we change from American to British Airways tomorrow morning in Heathrow going to Amsterdam!!

Be aware that the Spaniards are going on strike tomorrow, so any flights over there airspace or to Spain itself will be majorly disrupted.
