Percent late flights no more no less than other American National airlines, i.e. DELTA (25%), Continental (19%), and USAirways (18%) according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (USDoT). On this one you need to go by price and flight itinerary.
I flew IBERIA once; nothing remarcable either way.

I have had horrific experiences w/Iberia flying from the States to Spain from rudeness/indifference from the staff.I'm still waiting for a refund/voucher two years later. There is a love/hate experience w/them and codeshare w/British Airways.
Totally different experience fying w/them within Spain

I really have had no horrible experiences but I did fly from Lisbon to Madrid on Iberia. We flew into Madrid International airport Baraja- I thought we were waiting to taxi into the terminal gate when they brought stairs out to the plane. We had to walk 90 meters across the tarmac to get inside the terminal.
Not really bad but thought more from the country's main carrier.

Thank you for your opinions and reviews. I was asking because I saw a cheap flight by Iberia from Rome to Paris and there were 3 different flights for the date I wish to travel. I was thinking of taking the last flight so I can at least spend some more hours in Rome.
