What are the best websites for air + hotel combo deals for Paris, France?

These are usually not particularly good deals unless it is for just one person travelling since it makes you pay double for your hotel room, in essence. That said, if air fares are high and not coming down, sometimes these ARE good deals.
I have had some luck (shopping for others) on the airline website itself. All the major websites (travelocity, orbitz, etc.) have the feature also.Just shop them all.

Check it here: www.gate1travel.com/france-travel/.
They have great prices for France and other European countries.
Hope it helps.

Be sure to investigate any hotel proposed in the package before committing, as some of them (espec. at low-end) are not very good. Also, there is probably a clause that says you can be changed to another hotel than the one you chose, which is something I wouldn't like.

Also, check the prepayment and cancellation policies on those deals.

I've used Expedia 3 times already to Europe (Paris, Rome/Florence, Paris) and have found them to be the lowest. You do need to check out the hotel that they show you, though.

I agree with yoldguy! Expedia has been teasing the heck out of me by emailing me some great deals to paris. I called them about one of the trips I found and 5 nights 3* hotel air fare for 1025.00 not bad. Check it out. Your better off getting the air fare and hotel together, it seems like you can get a better deal that way.

Again, for a solo traveler, the air+hotel deals can be an excellent choice. If there are two people, then a bit of math is in order if there are cheap airfares at the time of travel. In that case, the airfare needs to be broken out from the hotel room and calculated for the two people. And still sometimes, it is the best deal.

I booked an excellent deal using American Airlines Vacations. An additional 5% savings is available if you enter the AA Vacations site from the Citibank Mastercard site. Price varies by hotel selected, but here is our example:
March trip Saturday to Saturday, air for 2 from DFW and 6 nights hotel $2664. At the time of booking, the air alone would have been $1656, and I liked the hotel. Having been to Paris several times, I know that $1000 for 6 nights hotel with breakfast at the hotel we chose is a fantastic deal.
