Can anyone recommend an agritursimo vineyard that is not too $$$ in umbria or le marche or tuscany?

It's near a very small town of Trequanda which is close to Siena. Point of interest: it's the only all female owned and operated vineyard in Italy.

Grignanello in tuscany...they have a vinyard and i do recommend it. reasonably priced.

It was really neat and great value. The owner manager was so helpful. We went on easy interesting day trips but always came back in time to enjoy Happy Hour by the pool. The views are unbelievable and the rooms and bathrooms really special. The inn has its own vineyard and wines in the Sagrantino area.

La Parrina in the Maremma is a really authentic place with vineyards, organic vegetables, farm, nice restaurant, pool etc in a different part of Tuscany from where all the tourists go and not too expensive.

Parking must be easier since these farms or villas are away from cities, right?

But price seem to be no better than staying in popular cities?

What do you do for food, drive into towns for restos or markets?

What about agriturismos with high-speed Internet? Are rural locales connected?

Prices for most agriturismos are less than comparable rooms in cities.
Most people (like me) that prefer agritursmos/B&B's plan to eat at restaurants. Some agriturismos serve food, but most don't. If you want to rent an apartment, some agriturismos have weekly rentals. You then can do your own cooking.

"High speed internet",I doubt it. I never bring my computer to Italy. You can sometimes find internet cafes in some of the towns.

Normally an agriturismo, legally, is a winery or in, fewer cases, a producer of olive oil only. However the term does seem more and more to be applied to any rural accommodation. High speed ADSL and WiFi are available to places within about 3 km of a switching station - so yes, you can have that - for example www.cetinelle.com. Agriturismi frequently offer apartments with complete cooking facilities and you don't always have to rent for a whole week. Shorter stays are common. Usually you drive to a market or supermarket for your supplies but there are more and more organic farm agriturismi who will sell you vegetables and fruit. Parking is no problem on almost any farm. Prices are significantly lower than hotels because the infrastructure is completely different and there is now HUGE competition.
