The Rubens

I am going to suggest afternoon tea at The Rubens. It is right across the street from the Mews at Buckingham Palace. I took my granddaughter there during the Christmas Holidays and we loved it. The hotel is lovely, the food was excellent, and the lounge area where we were served was wonderful. We left with two boxes of leftovers so we were given plenty of food. Since this is your daughter's first trip to the city (as it was for my granddaughter) this might be a good choice. The combination of the location, the interior of the hotel/lounge and the food made our afternoon tea all the more special. https://rubenshotel.com/dining-and-drinks/afternoon-tea
