advise on re-entry to schengen state after serving my ban.
I am James from cape town,south Africa.
I was deported from Germany in 2011 and was given a 5 years ban for buying stolen cars I was shipping as that's my job.
Well I didn't know it was stolen cars but I still had to accept the consequences .
I was given an ultimatum of 6 months in jail or a five years
Ban.and I took the ban instead and got deported.
My ban is up now as its 2016.
Is there a possible chance I can visit without having issues with my visa application as my junior brother is getting married there.
I'm I supposed to contact any authorities first before I plan to visit or I can just go ahead and apply for a visa.

I don't think it has to do with the fact you bought stolen cars, but perhaps because you were doing business while on a tourist visa. Or else why would they charge you, if you're not the one who stole the car.
Whether this might affect your chances of getting a new visa can't be predicted. But you don't need permission to apply for a new visa if the ban has been lifted.

first of all, agree that we are NOT who you shold be asking.
second, is your ban actually up - has it been more than 5 years to the day since you were banned - not just a date in that year?
Finally, if you really want this to go well I would consult an attorney that specialized in these matters and an perhaps tell you how to prepare and what the German embassy would want to see from you in order to have the best chance of being approved.
(A 5 year ban means that you cannot return in that time. It doesn't guarantee that you CAN return in 5 years. For one thing they might want proof that this is a vacation and you would not be working there again - and also proof of your job and income in SA.)
