You can have a look at Hotel Raito, in Raito (Vietri sul Mare) it is very beautifull with a very nice panorame, it is near to Salerno, Pompeii and along the amalfitan coast. From Salerno there are ferries to Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Ischia and Sorrento, from Vietri there are busses to Naples, Pompeii and Salerno and into the Amalfitan coast!

Thanks for everyone's feedback. Really appreciate it. Kja, lovely hotel but 1000 euros a night!
I think they have decided 3 nights at the Marincanto and 2 nights at the Monastero Santa Rosa. They will then join us in Camogli and Rome the next week.

Great choices....they will enjoy Positano and then Santa Rosa will be a complete chill out and relaxing time with amazing views and landscaping. The spa there really is incredible.
You might tip them to send an email to the hotel about their honeymoon. I don't remember what type of room we had but they have two that have small terraces. We asked if we could possibly have a room with a terrace as it was our 10 yr and my 50th and they did give us one of the rooms with a terrace....not large but very nice.
I hope they enjoy their time in Italy!
