We just got back from our first trip abroad and would like advice on sharing photos and stories online. We have friends who want a "play by play" and we're more than happy to share and relive our trip. We thought of doing a "We're Back" slideshow night with wine and appetizers, but we also have family/friends who live out of state.

I'd like to do this by distributing a link via email to family and friends.

I've used www.travelpod.com but i'm not sure it has all the features you're looking for. I'm sure others here will have more suggestions.

I LOVE wordpress...lots of templates and options to choose from and you can get it to look however you like! (you can use Flickr for photos/slideshows if you want - I don't have a slide show...but I'm sure if you browse wordpress you will see lots of examples!) There is a way to add music...but I haven't looked into how to do it (they have good forums for help though).

I am not a techy at ALL and I find it very easy to use...actually...my 6yr old son started a wordpress blog!! to put up his photos and keep in touch with grandparents, etc. - he's 6 and has figured out how to post by himself ;-) It is private...which I like...so I can invite certain users and give tem access...but it's not out there for the whole world to see.
