My wife and I will be staying in Paris for two months and making a few side trips, including visits to Germany and the Netherlands.

We'll have the normal assortment of gadgets purchased and used in the USA -- two HP laptop computers, cell phones, iPads, iPods, etc.

<b>The question: Will we need different adaptors & converters for the nations, or will the adaptors for France work in all three? </b>

Make sure your devices can handle the voltage. If they're 110-220v, then all you need is this:

The same adaptors for all of continental Europe. Very unlikely you will need converter, most electronics, etc., are dual-voltage these days.

If they don't, then buy one-they're cheap!

No not all, but many do. Easy enough to find on hotel web site or via email. While I've seen improvement over the years, some wall-mounted dryers are dire, about as effective as someone blowing on your hair.

If concerned, get a small dual-voltage hair dryer and plug adapter to take with you or purchase a 220 v model at your destination.

i was gonna leave mine at home to save space in my luggage as much as possible, but since you mentioned the ineffectiveness of the hotel ones....
