Adams Trinity, anyone?
I have a reservation for two nights at Adams Trinity in Dublin in February. Now I am starting to worry that it might be too noisy for us! I am thinking of switching to Stauntons on the Green. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about either of these? Thanks for any help.

I'm also looking for information about Stauntons on the green. I'm interested in the location which seems to be in an area not entirely noisy but within walking distance to attractions, restaurants pubs etc. Has anyone stayed there within the last year that would care to comment?
Thanks

I have never stayed at Staunton's, although it was not for lack of trying. It is located on St. Stephen's Green opposite Grafton Street. There is a steady flow of traffic on the street in front, but a room off the street should do the trick. The park is a good buffer from Grafton St. Very good location.***

Thanks for the location tip Keenan. Do you know anything about Kilronan house which is very near Stauntons? It's listed in a few guide books but from what I can tell from this useful board, it's best to hear it from recent travellers.
Emjoy, I am not familiar with the Kilronan House but you may get some feedback on this thread. I actually ended up staying south of Dubin in Dun Laoghire which turned out to be very comfortable with easy access to the city by DART and it had a beautiful harbor with Joyce's martello tower closeby, but this selection was after my failure to book with Staunton's and nine other places. If you are considering this place then act quickly as rooms fill up sometimes months in advance. Good Luck!
