Look at Hostelworld.com In Doolin there is the Doolin Hostel that has family rooms, nothing fancy but close to the cliffs, pubs and shops. You can horseback ride here, take the ferry to the Aran Islands. I would then go to Galway and snoozles is nice. Get a room for four. I think there are four of you. You will have your own bathroom. Otherwise there are great B&Bs in both places. Airb&b might be your best bet in Dublin. Three night min usually though. You can look at Travelodge on St Stephen's green. Return the car before Dublin and take the bus back into town. Give yourself three hours for Dublin airport.

Not a bad price for a superior 4 bed family room.

This location is not bad and the Anchor is ok also. You better book soon though. I would give myself at least two nights in Dublin. A lot to see. If you want you can take the dart to Howth and walk the coast.
