Another possibility with its own parking garage is:
Crowne Plaza Rome St. Peters
http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/
Their search engine above will allow you to put 2 adults and 3 children in, and it shows 2 different types of rooms with that input, one with 2 doubles and a rollaway, and another they call a family king. Both room types show a price of 333 Euro for an early April date. I didn't see any indication of the price for parking. You could always make a reservation in the hopes of finding something better, as this is one that would be easy to cancel, and at least you would have something.

Continued thanks for the great ideas. I'd get rid of the car if I could, but unfortunately, I'll have to keep the car in Rome for at least 24 hours to coordinate with shipper of the vehicle. So I'd rather just find a place that I can keep the car.
Since we'll be flying out of Leonardo da Vinci airport, are there any good places to stay between the airport and Rome. Anyone ever stay in Ponte Galeria, Casa Mattel or Magliana?

The location of this place is unreal. You walk out the front door make a left and walk 10 yards and the pantheon is right in front of you about 20 yards away. It is right next door to the pantheon hotel, which I only saw the lobby I think the same guy owns that also.
The one on the third floor is nicer it is quieter. It is really perfect for 4 people, one queen and 2 single beds in the bedrooms, than there is a queen or double in the smaller living room. One bathroom in the 3rd floor one, 2 bathrooms in the first floor apartment. I stayed in both.
Plus AC in both
