Patrick, Right you are! Ravello is on the Amalfi Coast, along with Limoncello! OK, in place of Ravello, how about"ragione" as in "ha ragione". Or rosmarino, which is everywhere in Toscana.

Patrick, I spent two lovely evenings in Siena at Palazzo Ravizza. Each night, after dinner my wife and I strolled through the gardens of the hotel, looked out at the Tuscan countryside and toasted to our good fortune with Limoncellii purchased from the Hotel Bar. You can find Limoncello most everywhere in Italy, but you are correct on its origin. We, of course, enjoyed it in Positano, too.

So instead, I will make the "B" stand for Brunello to be more politically correct.

For a real challenge, we should try an ABC of Italian wines!

And I think we're still stuck on W (unless we can accept Waaaa I don't want to go home) or X -- The True Cross?

X - Roman Numeral for 10
Z - zabaglione (delicious)

Why no Y?

Peggyann- sorry to interrupt, but I saw that you had visited Certaldo. We are getting married there in May 2005, and I was wondering if I could ask you some questions.
If that is ok, please email me at

Thank you!
