A question for Germany experts

Hi,

I am trying to find the exact name of a little town in the Bavarian Alps... all I know is that the name is something like "Oberfest"...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Jean,

there are a bunch of 'ober' towns in Southern Germany.

The one town that I really like is a town called OBERSDORF. Great town. Been there 2 times and will go back again in the enxt few years.

Good luck finding your ober town

Ober-something's are very common in Germany and Austria.

Do you have any other clues to help?

Thanks for your pointers...

These is the info that I have:

- It is in the Bavarian Alps
- If you were to fly into this place you would have to go to Stuttgart, Munich or Zurich
- You can go skiing there

A friend of mine has a house there and he has invited us for a few days in december. I want to start looking into transportation alternatives, but can't locate the town (can't remember the exact name!!)

I would ask my friend, but he's on some sort of business trip that will take like a month, with very limited internet access...

Thanks again!

Some googling brought up a page that says it is a list of every town in Bavaria. Here is the "O" list. Hope it jumps out for you!

Thanks for your help... I knew that it was a long shot, anyway. I guess that it'll have to wait until I find my friend...

Thanks again! >-
