8 hours between CDG and Orly- time for lunch in Paris?

8 hours between CDG and Orly- time for lunch in Paris?
I am looking at an 8 hour layover between arriving at CDG in the morning (8am) and catching a flight to Morocco from orly in the afternoon (4pm).
We'll have carry-on only, so no time waiting at baggage claim.
Would a lunch in paris (3 hours or so) be doable? Would it be quickest to do taxis both ways or hire a driver for a half day?
PS- we were in paris last year and will be back next year, so this would not be a first/only visit to the city.

I also need suggestions for what to do with luggage (carry on only).
If we arrive at cdg at 7:45, what time do you think we would make it into paris? Not sure what to do with our luggage as we're strolling around before lunch (hoping/guesstimating that we would make into Paris by about 10:30 via RER?)

Take the RER to Gare du Nord -you can leave your luggage in a locker there. Use the ratp.fr website to calculate how long it will take. The website says 38 minutes from CDG to Gare du Nord and 48 minutes from Gare du Nord to Orly. So lots of time in between to find a nice place for lunch.

About your transport:
I suggest you buy a 6-zone <i>Paris Visite</i> card at CDG. This will get you to Paris and from Paris to Antony on RER B, and from Antony to ORY on the OrlyVal automated shuttle. It is also valid for all trains (Métro, RER, SNCF), buses, and trams within RATP Zones 1-6. The cost works out to about the same as RER + OrlyVal.
