I’m bumping this to the top for those who are planning a trip to Rome as I’d gotten so much help from this thread.

And here’s the trip report from 2017 - I’m amazed how much we actually did!
Our Roman Holiday - 8 nights in the Eternal City

We returned for another 6 nights this past fall (2019) and this thread was so useful for planning our more recent visit as there is no lack of sights to see or streets to wander and explore!
