7th district in Paris restaurants

Bonjour,

Just practicing my french. Some suggestions for restaurants that are around 75-100 euro with wine included in that price that are atmospheric with good food in the 7th would be appreciated.

Merci

Karen

I don't know which part of the 7th you're staying, but if you are near the St. Germain side of the 7th, try Le Bistrot de Paris at 33 rue de Lille.

You can't get more atmosphere in the 7th than at Kniaz Igor, a French-Russian restaurant that has live music some nights, great atmosphere and service. Popular with journalists, Russian expats, locals, etc. It's right in your budget and well off the beaten tourist track.

St Cirq's list is excellent. Add L'Affriole to it and you will be ready to go. Bon Appetit.

A friend and I dined at Kniaz Igor 2 years ago. It definitely suits your request for a restaurant with atmosphere. ( I happened to be traveling with a woman friend, but I would love to return there with my husband.)

We had walked passed it a couple of times, on our way to other places. We peeked in the windows each time , both of us quite liked the rich red decor and the white cut work tablecloths.
One afternoon we popped in to make a reservation for that evening.

The hostess was also our server, She was very attentive to us.
The food was well prepared and tasty and served on patterned china.
After 2 years, I don't remember exactly what each of us ordered, but I do recall caviar, a vodka aperitif, and a vodka sorbet. ;-)

The live music was a bonus which pleased us very much... soft Russian ballads sung by a man playing an acoustic guitar.

On rue Grenelle, I would suggest Sud.
Small, charming and delicious Southern French cooking.
Thomieux is good but atmosphere is variable..according to the mood of the waiters

Jules Vernes on the Eiffel Tower. About 75-100 EUR and the food is good. Very memorable with the great view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower and their own private lift.
