If you have a car I would recommend Naoussa. You can get a taxi boat from Naoussa harbour to Kolymbithres and Monasteri beaches, and drive to Golden Beach or one of the other long sandy beaches nearby.
I've heard several people mention Mr & Mrs White at Naoussa recently. It's up a hill with a long flight of stairs from the harbour area, maybe a good place to park a car, but I've never stayed there, so can't comment on it further.
Double check with the rental agency, but most allow you to take a car on the Pounta - Antiparos ferry. Don't overlook Parikia, though—it has the most beautiful church in the Cyclades, Ekatontapiliani, or Church of 100 Doors, and just behind it a small museum with artefacts dug up on Despotiko and Saliago islets.

You are a US poster? - I'm just interested in your flight path that arrives to Santorini - or are you flying into Athens and onto Santorini? Don't mean to hijack but every time I start rolling around Greek options, it seems from the US to one of the islands (we are in Atl.) it is always a 3 flight path. Thanks!

That would depend on where in the States you live and the timing for a connecting flight. If you can find a direct flight to London, for example, and if the timing's good, you can catch an EasyJet or British Air flight non-stop to Santorini. Same thing applies to Madrid to Santorini on Iberia. You might find more here for the European leg: http://reservations.airtickets.com/a...=1501189213241

Some begin in May and extend into October. Others are only for June-September The only way to know is to make dummy bookings to see what's available when you need it. But if it's too far into the future nothing will show up.

Yes, flights to Santorini are seasonal, except the ones that leave from Athens. There is not enough demand for international flights to Santorini except during the tourist season.
I live in the UK and prefer to fly to Athens with Aegean Airlines and take a flight or ferry from there. Aegean Airlines and British Airways have several daily flights from Heathrow seven days per week throughout the year. From Athens there are several daily flights to Santorini with Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air, and Sky Express, again 12 months of the year, with reduced frequency during winter.
One problem with flying from the US to London is that most flights arrive at Heathrow, while easyJet flights to Santorini leave from a different airport, Gatwick. Ryan Air also fly from the UK to Santorini, but their main UK airport is at Stansted, the third London airport. You would almost certainly need an overnight layover in London both ways for flights from/to the US.
