FYI, this is the info on National's French website <<Customers must present a full and valid driving licence which has been held for a minimum of one year. The customer must also provide either an identity card or a passport, return train or flight tickets and a local landline telephone number, this cannot be a mobile number.>>

Thanks Christina for the detailed information. I will check out the local AAA branch for the IDP as you suggested.

I have been following the posts carefully and collecting information for Provence. (Thank you!) Hopefully I will have information to contribute to this forum when I come back from my trip!!

Does anyone have a copy of Stu Dudley's provence driving itinerary??

From reading the posts it seems it is quite thorough and well appreciated on this site. I did try to email him but I'm sure he is actually in France right now on one of his many trips!

My email is [email protected]. Thank you in advance (and thank you to Stu also)
