3 nights in Cinque Terre

I am visiting the Cinque Terre region with my wife from April 6th for 3 days and would like to know from people who have stayed in good inexpensive hotels there. Also are there any restaurants worth visiting? I will be travelling by rented car. Tnx

I like the La Tortuga restaurant in Monterosso. It's next to the old WW2 pillbox on the water.

There are lots of inexpensive places to stay in the CT. Many locals rent rooms in their homes, called cameras I believe. Especially in early April, they will most likely meet you as you step off the train.

late planning?
you might want to try the Albergo Barbara right on the square and harbor of Vernazza..totally basic with a clean shared bath (tub included).it's a short walk from the station nand has great restaurants (ALL)You have to walk 4 flights up but the rest of the town is up on the hill as well... Anything on his square has views to die for...
Cornigia has lots of steps to the station and Monterosso is kinda south of france-y and the other two are nice ......you need to search and call....

People traveling to Cinque Terre shouldn't miss Portovenere. It's the town just south of the other five. A great place to stay. Take the boat to Monterossa and then hike all the way back. You won't be disappointed!!

There's a very informal restaurant right on the square in Vernazza with the best pesto in the world!!!
