2010 Paris Gay Pride

Yesterday was a scorcher, but I managed to survive the heat and take loads of photos of the 2010 Paris Gay Pride March. The music was loud, the outfits louder and the streets were crowded! If you want to see some pictures of the Gay Pride March, take a look at http://bit.ly/ate1gE

Enjoy!

The costumes look conservative to the ones in our Gay Parade in Boston.

After keruoac's photos of Parisan streetwear, it's nice to see fashion returning to Paris, even if slightly less flamboyant than world cup soccer fans.

@zeppole, well I have been inspired by keruoac's photos of Parisian streetwear, so now plan to photograph as many people as I can from different distritcs and post up the photos. I will focus on the central, touristic districts initially. You can then all see what the Parisians wear by district

I doubt it will be any time soon though, as I am off on vacation soon Will be going down to Chamonix to enjoy the mounain air with the family.

I also have thought of snapping Italian women to reassure visitors not every Italian woman looks like she stepped off a catwalk when she goes out to buy milk. I see lots of running shoes, lots of athletic clothes, often polo shirts, tennis visors, cropped cargo pants and flip flops. Cheap clothes abound, especially from India, and lots of plastic jewelry.
