Looks like you have a pretty good answer, but you still might want to try asking this question on www.madridman.com - - the site for all things Spain - - not just for Madrid.

Best wishes,

Rex
Selena,

About Tarifa, it depends on what time of the year you are planning to go. In general, the beaches around there are beautiful, mainly the ones outside town. The Caños de Meca area around the Cape of Trafalgar also very pretty.
Spring to late fall would be the time to go if you want to swim there, otherwise windy and water too cold.
There is an agency that organizes whale watching tours and the view of Africa from the old castle is very neat.

About Hostería del Laurel I personally wouldn´t stay there if I was staying by myself. Seville is very safe for walking, but the pedestrianized area of Santa Cruz where the hotel is located gets very lonely late at night if you plan on going out at night.
I prefer to take a taxi right to the Hotel´s door at night when I travel alone.
