For direct info. you can also call
airfrance airlines 1-800-237-2747.
I was told the bus would take you to
the hotel , I need to call back again.
But they have a counter at the airport
were you can go to and hop on the bus.
thanks anyways to RonZ for the extra info. I'm also staying at the Marais.

If you go to a concert at Ste. Chapelle, I recommend sitting as close to the front as possible. The reverberation in that old church is quite strong. If you sit close to the front, you are in better listening position because you are closer to the source of the sound.
I enjoyed going there for several reasons.
About an hour before sundown on a clear day the light makes those incredible stained glass walls glow with beautiful colors.

The information - cost, hours of operation, pick up/drop off points - for all fixed route shuttles (such as the Air France shuttle) are available on the airport website:

I was having trouble with the Air France website (link) before. Yes, it is clear that their bus will NOT drop you off directly at your hotel.
I think I will do one of the previously mentioned shuttle services (or a taxi) instead. (Don't want to have to deal with two different modes of transportation!)

We just got back from Paris....ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
We did a concert at St Chappelle and I have to say it was one of the highlights of the trip. When you get to Paris pick up a 'PARISCOPE' It is a guide to what is going on in the city for the week. Genrally, I believe St Chappelle offers concerts everynight at 7pm and 9pm. The first night we went the concert was booked...it was a Friday night so we did not get in. We had the hotel call and reserve a spot for us on Saturday, but that night did not seem as crowded (???). Anyway I highly recommend going to the 7pm as you can watch the lighting really change. It was spectacular!
As for shuttle, we had a bad expereince on our trip to CDG, but I don't know what shuttle comp it was. We booked a private car for our trip from CDG into Paris and it was the best 75 euro we spent, after flying that long and being sooooo tired it was great not to have to think/look/ask!!!
Enjoy,
Brenda

If there are two of you take a taxi from CDG and save yourself the hassle of the shuttle. It will be in the neighborhood of 40-50E. For us it is just not worth the extra 10E to mess around. Walk out the door to the taxi queue, get a Taxi Parisienne and go.

Oh Beatchick, you have just made my life more complicated. Going to France for a week and flying back from Paris on July 21, but I hadn't planned on going into Paris because it is summer and we were going to spend the week driving around the countryside, something I have been fantasizing about since we did it in 1990.
And now you go and tell me that Peter Wispelwey is playing Bach cello suites at Ste. Chapelle while it is still light outside. I have only been able to get to Paris in the winter and have been to two concerts at Ste. Chapelle but both, sadly, after sunset.
This might require us to spend our last night in Paris. Oh, the sacrifices we make for art.

Nikki, I've never been to a concert at Ste-Chapelle but I am now imaging what that must be like to listen to classical music wafting thru this great church with those fabulous acoustics with a great cellist WITH the light streaming in thru those fantastic windows creating the colored light show on the floor. You'd be hard-pressed to focus your attention on one or the other. Magic! I'd do it.
Hey Betty! You'll be going to Paris soon! I'm very excited for you.

Just got back and I had checked the web site (amp) mentioned every day looking for tickets for our dates in Paris. None were ever listed but there was a ticket booth right at Ste Chappelle that had tickets for the performances that week. Unfortunately, we decided not to go - so much to see - so little time. So many wonderful Parisian dinners!

Uh, Beatchick, I think I've missed those concerts with Peter Wispelwey. I went to www.monum.fr and saw the schedule you posted, but it appears to me that those concerts were scheduled for July, 2001.

LOL, Nikki, that's hilarious! I can't believe they haven't updated their website and here's me in all my haste to help & I never noticed. Sorry 'bout that.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to afford to go to Paris in June, Betty, but it would've been nice. Buying my ticket this weekend!
Fashionette, then I guess you & will be GOING to that concert, eh chica??
Aprilinparis, I usually find out about the concerts at Ste-Chapelle from the flyers they hand out in front of the Conciergerie & in front of Nôtre Dame. I pasted the flyers I got from last trip into my journal.
