As ellenem says, we need to know what you are interested in, whether you are happy to walk lots etc. Lucky you, wish I was going!!

In only two days you can't really see a whole lot. I would just get a good guide book with itinerary suggestions

Hi LG,

We are not magicians or travel agents.

Try looking up Rome under "Dstinations". We can help you with details after you have some idea of what you want to do.

Agree with Ira. If you spend some time in the 'destinations' tab and come back with a rough itinerary, then you should get good responses. Lots of Fodor's contributors will be happy to help you put your plans into a really streamlined itinerary, but we aren't keen on writing your itinerary from scratch.

In addition to the destinations tab for this forum you could check out frommer's web site. It suggests one, two or three day itineraries which would be a good starting point for you
http://www.frommers.com/destinations...064010007.html

In very general terms I would suggest one day for Forum/Colosseum/Palatine ancient Roman sites and the Piazza Navona/Pantheon area and one day for the Vatican
