Ooops...sorry meant to say we were in Slovenia the year before last -- 2014. Yikes... time goes by so fast I guess it felt like last year. I did a trip report too but not nearly as good as yours!

@Collk I'm so glad you like the TR, it's fun to write about a wonderful trip and also (maybe!) help someone along the way. Yep, I know what you mean about the time just slipping by so fast, hard to believe we've been back from this trip 2 months already!

Hi, thanks so much for this great report. I'm planning a trip to Slovenia in early Oct and I will be traveling by myself. I have rented cars alone all over the world, but some places are easier than others. Do you think it will be easy to get around for one driver with no navigator?
