12 days from Barcelona to Madrid and everything in between......
I'll be traveling with my daughter who is 13 this Thursday for 12 days to Spain.
We arrive in Barcelona and leave from Madrid.
I was hoping to see some things in between....for instance Valencia.....Granada.....Seville...Cordoba.....Jer ez......
Not sure how to do this because I have no clue what to expect.
I thought maybe after 2 days in Barcelona, we can take the train to Valencia and from there rent a car and drive to all these different places and from Cordoba take the train to Madrid.
I need someone with experience that would advise us what not to do and what to do.
Looking forward to your help.
Thanks so much,

Your idea is correct but I would leave the car in Sevilla. The train to Córdoba and on to Madrid. Jerez is easy by train. You may want to be there on a horse show day.

Hi,
Have you ever been in Madrid? Are you planning/ want to spend any time there? Frankly, I've been to Jerez( didnt do the horse show, just a jerez bodega and a walk through the city) and would rather spend a day in Madrid than there.
If you have only 12 days, with two of those dedicated to Barcelona ( a bare minimum for sure. although I'm not a Barcelona lover), you dont have that much to ceover the rest of your proposed territory.
I totally agree with Lincasanova, no car needed in Sevilla, train to Cordoba and then onto Madrid.
