"2 weeks there [Switzerland] will be our last stop before heading home"
I can't tell you how invious I am. Both times that I've been to Switzerland I've longed to have more time!
Interlaken was one of the places that I was truely SAD to leave... also sad that I didn't have thousands of dollars to blow on skydiving/rafting and activities of that nature.
I just got my Munich and Neuschwanstein pictures up. I wish I would have had more time there as well.
I'll get my Greece and hopefully Turkey pictures up tomorrow but I better be done for tonight. I've been uploading all day haha.
You guys make it more than worth it though!

tyler - still can't get over what great pictures you took. I'm loving 'em! I must say that of all the digital pictures I've seen, yours look very crisp. Did you use different lenses on your camera? What about the night scenes - did you use a flash or not?

Beautiful pictures, Tyler! Thank you! Of course I had not time to see all of them, but I saved the link, so I'll continue in the next days.
I am not invidious, because 4 weeks is for me the maximum long of a trip. After this I feel my head and heart full with too many impressions and new things, it is just too much for me!
Each of us are different, what is important is to do what we want and like!
The pictures and the impressions that you share with us are very nice and bring me a lot of memories!
You made a great job! Thanks again.
Tyler, please see the first picture in the section Transylvania, a picture from a train station. You wrote that it is from Brasov, but for sure it is not from Romania. Nothing is written there in Romanian ! Maybe it is from Croatia, I do not know.
I hope that during this weekend I'll have time to see all the pictures.

"Did you use different lenses on your camera? What about the night scenes - did you use a flash or not?"
I have a Canon IS 17-85 lens that I used on every one of those shots. The Image stabilization helps my shaky hands out quite a bit. I only took that one lens and almost the entire trip found myself wishing I had had a good zoom lens to go along with that one.
I only use flash when I absolutely had to. Alot of the time flash only serves to make people's foreheads shine. I LOVE the night portrait setting on the camera. It helps out alot. I'm no photography professional though, I'm still learning how to use the camera honestly

Good catch! It's from Slovenia as I was waiting for a train to Budapest and on to Brasov. I edited the post to reflect that Thank you!

Hi tyler
Your pictures are great. I think I have looked at all of them. Love the captions. I laughed out loud at the one of your sister jumping on the mountain in Switzerland, and the next pic was of you doing the same. Okay, I really need to get some work done.
Thanks for the distraction.

Tyler: I just had to tell you how absolutely beautiful your photos are and I am thorougly enjoying your journal as well. I am going to Dubrovnik this Oct., so I am especially enjoying this part of your trip. I have to ask, do you remember the name of the restaurant that you so wonderful described, where the owner/chef/server gave you such good service and food. It sounds like a great place to go. I am staying in the old town too.

I wish so bad that I did... you know what, actually he gave us a free Croatian postcard as we left and also his business card so I'll dig through my souveniers and find that. I should have put the name of the place in that update. He really was one of the nicest people I met while traveling. It's amazing to see someone go out of their way so much to make your time there comfortable.
I just got my Greece pictures uploaded as well:

Your pics are truely amazing!!! I love the backpacking view of europe. In my opinion that is the real europe, not expensive hotels and eateries but sleeping in a dorm walking everywhere, over night trains, and eating incredible cheese and bread for meals. You should find a way to post all of your photos, i for one would like to see them.

Tyler, thanks for sharing your journey with us. I was up VERY late last night reading/and looking at your photos. I loved you mom's posts and Kristin's antics, er, I mean jumps. Too fun. The Greece photos were wonderful...looking forward to Turkey. BTW, did Brandon get a third camera? Poor guy.
