yes for Sept probably won't book with them again
1. they make you pay up front
2. more than other sites (hindsite)
3. when I contacted he hotel by email they didn't have the reservation
took frantic phone calls and emails to verify an I have already had to pay in full for a trip i haven't taken yet.
I'll reserve my decision till I return and see hotel the hotel goes.
no matter which site you book with double check with hotel that they do indeed have a reservation in your name

Hi molly23; You could check this site, as they usually do not charge for the hotel until check-in. www.booking.com/ Dick

It is true some booking sites you have to prepay and Expedia is a notable example. But you don't on lots of them. So I would not say "most", as I rarely do and when I do it is solely to get an APEX discounted rate, not just to book. I haven't ever used a booking site that required prepayment.
