Whale Watching-Which Port?
We are going to Alaska in June and would like to do some whale watching. Ports of call are Skagway, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, and Ketchikan. I was thinking that we would be able to see whales from the cruise ship, but Budget Queen helped me out with that information (thanks!) Which port has the best whale watching opportunity? We would like to do this activity while at Icy Strait Point because there are other excursions we would like to do in the other ports, but what are our chances of seeing whales there? TIA

Hoonah (Icy Strait Point) is a top humpback tour opportunity, see if you can hook up with Floyd- way superior to the ship tours since he stays out twice as long.

Floyd is booked for the date we will be in town. Shawn McConnell has been recommended to us. Has anyone gone out with Shawn? Does anyone know of a website where I can acquire more information on his services? Thanks!

BudgetQueen,
Now I am confused. Is Shawn with g-wind good to use? Should I consider Keith over Shawn? I cannot access Keith's website right now, there is a bandwidth problem. I truly appreciate all of the help you have provided so far and I am looking for a little bit more! Thanks!
