there is NO WAY a 5'10" teen could sleep on the sofas in a cruise/sailing ship--they are WAY too short=
and at FULL price-they should be ashamed of themselves--Make sure there is a ROLL AWAY bed for him...

ABC,

We are not planning for him to sleep on a couch; he's sharing with his sister. I just thought my 3 kids might prefer to be together, rather than 1 sleep with her aunt. They did say that if he was young (12 or under), it might be possible.

Upper bunks are the same size as the lower beds. Best yet is the pull out sofas. This may require a suite booking or Disney ship regular cabin. Rollaways take up quite a bit of room in the cabin. Even on the 185 sq. ft. cabins on Carnival.

Paul

Hmmmm...Don't think the sofa was meant for sleeping. If all else fails, he can sleep under the stars on one of the Balinese sunbeds! I swear! They're just like matresses! Okay, I'm not serious and nobody did sleep outside that I'm aware of on our sailing but here's a well-kept secret: Just in case someone does want to do so, they have free SeaDream pajamas on hand! These people think of EVERYTHING!
