Sapphire Princess Room Choice

Would you take a room two doors from the self-serve laundromat on the Sapphire Princess? I'm worried about noise and traffic, especially early morning or late evening. Thanks for your advice.

I believe laundry rooms are closed (locked) at 11 p.m. and opened at 8 a.m. to avoid the noise problems. They were on the Sun Princess that we were on recently. You can always call Princess and ask them directly.

When my clients are faced with this situation, I always try to find another stateroom away from the laundry rooms. It does get noisy with clothes in the dryer, people walking by the door, etc. Even if there are set hours for the laundry room, it can get noisy.

Also, try to stay away from staircases and elevator landings because those can get noisy when people stand in groups and visit.

Best Regards,
Julia

In general, yes I would take a cabin two doors from the laundromat.... the laundries are not THAT noisy and they are USUALLY closed after 10:30/11pm.

BUT if the laundromat was further aft of the aft elevators then I would probably say no. I don't like cabins that far back on any ship.
