RC cruise from venice boarding times
Hi everyone I am wanting to know if the ship leaves port at 5 pm what time do they usually let one board? Whats the latest you can get there? Also where in Venice are the boat docks in relation to the train station? near the Mestre or Venice station? Thanks

You need to ask all of these question of your cruise line. Most cruise lines will encourage boarding at least two hours prior to departure. Have no idea where your ship will dock -- only they know. When we board our ship it was within walking distance of the train station but your ship could be anywhere.

Sorry, did not finish. Click on the icon that says "Ship Schedules" and then pick Splendour of The Seas from the list and then pick continue and you will see the list of sailing dates (in European format dd/mm/yyyy)showing which dock you will go to.

OK I was in Venice a few years ago and parked in the area where it looks like the ship docks.. All one has to do is walk across a bridge from the train station...It will be hot...I am just trying to coordinate a week at an agitourismo near Siena and the train from Siena leaves at 8:40 AM and takes about 5 hours to get to Venice.. So I will arrive about 2pm...The ship leaves at 5pm so even if I have to walk to the dock (half hour) and check in (one hour)I should just make it with a hour to spare dont you think?
