I almost know the answer. When on a Princess ship, there is a link to the postcards on the main page, there is a limited choice - but text can be attached.
Not sure if discountinued, some said yes, some said no. I am going to try in October.

Yes, you can use Princess' computers to send their free postcards.....they have 5-6 to choose from.....
You don't need to buy any of their internet packages...just look for the 'free' computers...
All the info you need to send 1 is on their 'home page' when you use their computer...
It's very easy!

You can send e-cards at eitehr their internet cafe terminals,or the future cruise sales terminals. Those machiens are available 24/7, and no log-ins are required.
Accessing the Princess web site is always free as well.
You can add a little note before you send the e-card and the stock pictures are exactly that: stock. They are nice enough, usually with their ship on the background, sandy beaches, glaciers of Alaska, the white houses of the Greek Isles etc.
