Ponant Le Bellot for fjords cruise
We are interested in a small ship cruise of the Norwegian fjords in 2020, 8 days. We're looking at Ponant / Le Bellot because they sail in April / May. Having never done a small ship cruise I'd appreciate any feedback on cruising the fjords in general and this cruise line / ship in particular. Thanks in advance.

It would help if you provided a link to the cruise you are considering - I can't find it with a quick look at the relevant website. I did Bergen to Kirkenes on Hurtigruten, which is not a cruise company per se. I was very pleased with the trip.

Ponant is a good , somewhat upscale cruise line, French owned ships. We prefer sailing on small ships however we sailed with 350 passengers on a Hurtigruten cruise up the whole coast of Norway including fjords and it was excellent.

Quite a bit more expensive than Hurtigruten as you can see.

Interesting, that link gets me to the specific cruise on my iPad, but not on my desktop!
I don't care for the itinerary - not enough fjords - nothing north of Alesund. If you want to go to Copenhagen either fly there or take an overnight ferry from Oslo, getting to Oslo by the NiN or a train from Bergen. It's just a distraction if what you really want is the Norwegian coast.
