Mediterranean Cruise In November

I had to use up some expiring timeshare credits so I am going on the Splendour of the Seas cruise with other Worldmark timeshare owners November 5-12 out of Barcelona (Rome, Naples, Florence, Nice, Monaco, etc.). I see that most of the ports are in the high 60's by then which sounds perfect to me given the heat during my last land trip to Italy but I am wondering how bad the weather will be while cruising. Any with experience on a Mediterranean cruisein November?

I took a cruise to the Eastern Med a few years ago. We went from Greece to Turkey, Egypt, Cyprus and some Greek isles. I can't imagine the sailing would be too much different from where you're going. The weather was fantastic and seas were smooth. It sounds like it will be a great trip.

What cruise line did you go on? We are considering a cruise on MSCCruises with roughly the same ports of call this October into November but don't know anyone who has ever cruised on that line.

I went on Royal Olympic, which no longer exists. Sorry I can't help you with MSC Cruises, but maybe if you post a thread about it, someone else can. Good luck.

I am getting on the Splendour this Saturday May 28th. I think it would be a good time to go in November. I like to layer up when sightseeing with a sweater or jacket. This is the reason why we are going now so its not so warm. I hate to sightsee when it is high 80's-90 degree weather. Plus it won't be as crowded when I go and when you go on yours.

Enjoy.....don't forget to sign up on cruise.critic.com We have signed up and have a meet n mingle with folks coming from all over the world and RCCL will be hosted courtesy of RCCL.
