Did you buy travel cancellation insurance just in case the Iceland volcanoes erupt again and disrupt air travel?

Yes, of course!

As for the volcano... we need a group of good men who know how to aim to put it down You know, like this soccer fan

http://www.rotten.com/library/culture/eternal-flames/

2 Jul 1998 The eternal flame at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, which has burned continuously since 1921 to commemorate the dead of World War I, is extinguished by an intoxicated soccer fan with his beer-enriched urine. Mexican national Rodrigo Rafael Ortega is arrested and charged with public drunkenness and offending the dead.

Will you stop at Lofeten Island where they make lutefisk?
Make sure you try the lutefisk if it is available.

I always wanted to take that western Norway cruise and come back down through Finland to Helsinki. Have been to Norway and Finland a few times so may not get back there again.

I'll just hose it down for you

Brats, is it like jelly made out of fish? I might try it, just to have the bragging rights. Too bad I cannot bring it to the US to share with friends and family. Some friends and some family

Andrew, I will post a report.

Dayenu - yes it is like jelly but with melted butter it isn't bad. We go to the lutefisk and lefse dinners every fall. You can buy lutefisk at many fish stores in the USA especially in the Minnesota area.

We had it at home every Christmas and I hated it but my DH loves it so we go to the dinners. Now I eat some but enjoy those meatballs more.

When you come back from your cruise let us know if you ate the lutefisk.

Sounds great, I hope you have a blast. And not a blast from that volcano.

PS In September I will have revenge as I will rub Aruba into your face.

Sounds great! I have been to Trondhiem and I could not believe how beautiful a Fjord is. I also love Copenhagen.
You really don't want to try the lutefisk ;-)

Oh very funny Dayenu.

I'm sorry to say this but we might have to cancel Aruba due to the issues I am dealing with, you-know-what. Please cross your fingers things will get better and hopefully I'll be aRUBBINGa it into your face.

I know you will be aRUBbing it in my face! saw your FFRR post. Best wishes!

Printed the cruise docs - on the website Copenhagen's pier is listed as Langelinie. On my docs it's Freeport. Yikes, longer ride to the airport - and we should hurry off. Oh, well...
