HAL Tokyo Alaska Seattle reposition cruise?
Has anyone taken the Holland America repositioning cruise Tokyo - Seattle via Alaska? What was it like? We are looking at the shorter “12 day” cruise. The longer itinerary includes a bunch of stops in Japan at places we visited a few years ago. Plan is to fly into Tokyo before the cruise starts and travel independently for about 10 days.
We have taken one cruise before. Also Alaska. This itinerary only repeats one of the Alaska stops we made on the earlier cruise.

wendy236 While I cannot say I have specifically taken this cruise, but are you referring to the 14-night from Yokohama to Seattle on the Westerdaam? It looks like a nice cruise. You only have 5 consecutive sea days, and you cannot beat the time of year for the Asia portion.
