Hairdryer,Shampoo, Etc..

I am leaving on a 4 day trip to the Bahamas and am wondering if the Fantasy ship has hair dryers, shampoo , conditioner in the cabins for you?? I am trying to pack as lightly as possible.

Any other suggestions for this cruise?

I find it rather strange that people knock travel agents on this site all the time and then some posts a dumb questions like this. Any travel agent could answer this with no problem.

Why pay for a travel agent just to get an answer to an insignificant question when you can get it answered here for free?

Yes, travel agents will answer all trivial questions if the booking is done with them. Otherwise ask it here and hope for a reply. But it is simpler to just call Carnival.

Paul

Hi, Amy!

I'm a travel agent, (not that it matters in this case) and the last time I was on the Fantasy (11/01) I distinctly remember there being a small wicker basket in the bathroom filled with disposable razors and sample-type packets of shampoo and conditioner. However, I don't remember there being a hair dryer in the cabin. I just tried to call Carnival to double-check, but it's New Year's Day and they are closed...If I don't see a definitive answer regarding that here when I check back tomorrow, I'll call Carnival again and come back and post what I find out. Have a wonderful time!

Calm down Amy. I thought Donna posted a very nice answer--even though it wasn't a YES or NO the way you wanted it.

Buy some small bottles of shampoo, etc. and take a nap this afternoon. Sounds like you need it, Amy.

Amy
Sorry about the rudeness of some posters. Your question is a reasonable one. As best as I remember, the cabins did not come with hair dryers, but the electricity was 110 so you could use your own. I also remember there being shampoo and conditioner available. However, for the latest information you should call or email Carnival.

All the cruises I have been on have shampoo, conditioner (or a combo shampoo) and hairdryers but the hairdryers are weak and I normally don't like the shampoo so I always bring my own.
When we booked our cruise we were given a booklet from RC. All those questions and answers are in this booklet. I am sure you have one also. My book is called "Guest Vacation Documents." If your trip is far away, then maybe you have not received it yet.

Hi Pamela!

Thank you for the support!

Geez, Amy, I was just tryin' to help!

BTW, out of sheer curiosity, I DID check w/CVL...no hair dryers anywhere on the Fantasy...not in the regular cabins, and not even in the suites.

Have a good trip, Amy.

Enjoy the Bahamas, if you get a chance I recommend taking a water taxi over to the Atlantis on Paradise Island, it is just amazing. Save the shopping on Bay street for just before departure. Sincerly, Cacique Award winner for International Travel Agent of the Year 1999..............Gregg
