HI Tom,

I would depend how valid your complaint is or how much money you lost.

The usual complaints against travel agents are for non-disclosure such as the travel agent didn't tell you about the decks being wet and you might fall down or the travel agent stated the food or the ship was great and you didn't think it was or that you had to eat at 8:45 PM, etc.

The BBB is funded by businesses and they will take it up with the travel agent. Not that you will get any satisfaction. You can also contact ASTA ot CLIA but it is the same.

The Attorney General gets thousands of complaints every week. If it is a fraud complaint the office will investigate.

Best to hire a lawyer. They will tell you if you are wasting your time or not. Travel agents are insured.

Paul

God Paul will you ever learn. If you don't know the correct answer keep your mouth shut. By law the Attorney Generals Office MUST investigate every complaint it gets. To what degree is another story.

Start with them. They will tell you wether it is necessary to hire a lawyer. That way you will not waste money on a lawyer if it is not necessary.
