Galaxy Convertible Sofabed room

I just found out our cabin is #8004 on the Celebrity Galaxy. I hate think of spending 10 night sleeping on a sofa bed. Are there two bed plus a sofabed or is the sofebed the only sleeping accommodation. Has anyone been pleased with this type or room or should I try to exchange it.

I just looked at cruisestatroom.com at that particular cabin. It has two beds (convertible to queen) and a sofa bed so you are OK.

The sofa is twin size, able to accomodate a 3rd passenger. While I have not sailed on the Galaxy, I have had similar accomodations.I opt for the sofa, closest to the bathroom, tho I have had sailmates fall all over me trying to get there themselves.

Hi BeachBoi.. did sail on the Galaxy last year and our sofa bed was next to (never had any other configuration) the sliding glass door to the balcony.. One thing is for sure.. it makes a great place to pile clothes on a two wee plus cruise..

Thanks for replys. I was worried that we would have to spend 10 nights sleeping on a sofabed.

Parrot Pop is still alive and kicking. We just did the Constellation from Barcelona to Bayonne, N.J,wth a couple of great ports..like Casablanca, Malaga, Cadiz and believe it or not..the best.. Lisbon We are being adopted by two guys from S.F...youd love them.. Have a cruise planned on the new Equinox (bought when prices were first announced) and I am not happy about the itinerary,,,so "my sons" and I are shopping around.. So far the Noordam looks good t/a but need to get better price..
