Ft. Lauderdale hotels?

I'm leaving on Dec. 22 out of the port in Lauderdale... does anyone have any recommendations of a hotel for a one night pre-cruise stay, preferably one that would pick me up at the airport the night before and drop me off at the port the next morning? Thanks!

The Comfort Suites is a good hotel that provides complimentary shuttle service both from the airport and to Port Everglades. We paid around $80 the last time we stayed there.

I am staying at Springhill Marriott in FLL for 3 nights prior to my Oct. cruises. They have complimentary airport and cruise port shuttles. The AAA rate is $80.10 per night. I have never stayed there , but someone on this forum recommended it. The suites sound nice and I also wanted a nice pool and restaurants within walking distance. Hopefully this hotel with provide it. Look at the Marriott website for pics.<BR>

Check out the listings for winning Priceline.com bids in the FLL area on www.biddingfortravel.com - many good places with airport/port shuttles going for $50 or less. We stayed at the Embassy Suites in FLL through Priceline and it was fine.
