"Friendly" Cruise Forum

Those of us that surf cruise forums know many of them can be intimidating. This is because some of the "oldtimers" flame new people who are only trying to get information.
I found a new forum where the people are friendly and helpful. If you are looking for information, take a look at http://www.cruiseenvy.com.

I check in at least once a day to read what has been posted. Hope to see you there.

"Traveler"

Collina, Collina! Cruisecritic is such a pitifull board when it comes to honesty. If you go to any of the cruise line boards you'll find that half of the posts are cruisers wanting others on their upcoming cruise to say "hello" and sign up for the CC party and meet in the "???" lounge.

The other half will tell you how wonderful the food, service, cabin, weather, casino, etc. were. If you want to feel good about the choice you made for your next cruise, go to that board on cruisecritic. It will make you feel better.

This board used to have some honest opinions about different cruise lines and ships. Not anymore - same thing as CC - how wonderful your choice was. Don't worry, you'll have a great time. Is this really what you want from a travel forum? No debate, no disagreement? You aren't getting helped - you're getting stroked!

Peter

PumpkinEater,

You are so right. It is very difficult to get an honest opinion on that board.
Sometimes one can get lucky and get an opinion or question answered before the cheerleaders jump in.
The food always gets me. Anyone saying they did not care for it will get flamed.
You are right about some of the boards with half the post being rolls calls and the other half praising the cruise line.
Just because people have to behave themselves and you can't fight with Paul anymore does not mean people are not giving their opinions anymore. It just means they are not filled with the animosity they were before.

Peter Peter Peter, if you don't like this board anymore well why do you stay?
