I have a cruise leaving from Port of Miami. The cheapest tickets I can find into the area land at Fort Lauderdale. What would be the best way to get from the airport to the port and vice versa?

Since you said "I" , I am assuming you are traveling solo. Call your cruise line and ask if you can purchase the transfer through them and ask the cost. Sometimes that way is cheaper than taking a taxi for ONE.

I've flown into Fort L. and Miami when cruising out of Port of Miami. Pretty equidistant.

Take a taxi each way. There are queues.

We used this service - its $18 a person for a shared ride from FLL to Port of Miami. No reservations needed. Just grab your luggage and walk outside to their stand. We've also taken their limo back to the airport. No problems either way.

I was told to avoid cabs as they can get pretty pricey, especially if its during rush hour, or if there's road construction.

Any recommendations on things to do (b/t docking and flight)? Our flight does not leave Ft. Lauderdale until 7:30 pm and I assume we'll be off the boat (miami port) by noon?
