First 2 days in the same port?

Can somebody tell me what happens if we are late to board the ship?

The itinerary I'm looking at: Royal Caribbean Splendor

Ports: Venice, Venice, Kotor, At Sea, etc....

With 2 days in the same port maybe we can risk it to plan our arrival the same day? Not the day before not to miss the cruise?

(yes, I know, we want to see Venice, but limited vacation time)

Ask the crusie line to be sure ... you can probably board the next day. WHen teh ship stay over at a port like that, it usually means massive crew changes.

Dayenu,

Most cruise lines will have staff available to check in late arriving passengers until shortly before departure. This will be true when the ship is in port for two days at the beginning of a cruise. We met people delayed by stateside snow storms who joined a ship we were sailing on at 3:00 a.m. on the sailing day.
