Disney Cruises: Adults?

We are two adults wanting to take a Disney cruise. Can two adults who don't want children around every second find happiness on such a cruise? Are there adult only cabin areas? Thank you.

There is an adult only pool, and areas and activities for adults, but you'll be on a ship loaded with kids and they'll be almost everywhere. It will be very hard to avoid them.

If this is your first cruise, you might want to give that some thought.

Perhaps post what you want in a cruise and some of us can make some suggestions on cruise lines that might meet your expectations.

No, you won't be happy on a Disney cruise if you don't want to see children, they will be around, even during the school year. The only adult area that I remember was the adult pool, and I don't remember seeing any in the bar areas --- I was too busy trying to hide from my own! It can be quite fun for adults, but if you want a kid-free zone, I would stay away from Disney.

We are two very MUCH adults who took a Disney cruise a couple of years ago, During the day we kept wondering WHERE the kids were: answer....very much involved in their own activities and except at meals we hardly knew they were aboard.

Why do you want to take a Disney cruise where there are sure to be many families with children? Surely there are other cruise lines who travel to the destination you prefer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Disney cruise. I think I had more fun than our son did. Top notch entertainment, food and service as good or better than we have experienced on Crystal and Radisson. Just our opinion...

We (2 adults - 2 children 11 & 16) just came back from a Disney Cruise at the end of February and we loved it !! There were a lot of children around, but there are adult areas all over the ship - adult pool, coffee shop, 2-3 lounges and restaurant. On their private island there is also an adult only beach. I don't think you can avoid children completely, but I did enjoy seeing all little girls in their princess dresses. I had a hard time finding my two when I wanted them.
I thought it was a great cruise - well worth the money.
